
The Forgiveness of the Criminal Thief
Story:
When Jesus was being crucified, there were two criminals hanging beside him. One of the criminals began insulting Jesus, but the other criminal silenced him, saying, “We are receiving the punishment for our deeds, but he has done nothing wrong. If we ask for his forgiveness, will he forgive us?”
Jesus then replied, “Today you will be with me in paradise.”

The Calling of the Sinners

When Jesus came to earth, he would spend time with sinners, which was considered unusual by many. Once, he called a tax collector named Matthew to be his disciple. People criticized him for this, but Jesus responded, “I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

Jesus Christ taught us that he did not come for the perfect but for the sinners. If we are lost or weak, we can turn to him, and he will guide us back to the right path.
Water Turning into Wine

Story:
Jesus Christ’s first miracle occurred at a wedding in Cana, where the wine ran out. Jesus turned water into wine, which amazed the guests at the ceremony.
Lesson:
From this miraculous act, we learn that while we may face problems beyond our control, God’s help can provide solutions. By having faith in God, we can move forward in life, overcoming obstacles.
The Good Samaritan
Story:
A traveler was left injured on the road. Many people passed by without helping, but a Samaritan saw him and took care of him. He brought the traveler to an inn, paid for his treatment, and ensured his recovery.
Lesson:
Jesus Christ’s story teaches us that a true good person is one who shows kindness and extends help to everyone, regardless of their race, religion, or social status.
The Rich Young Man
Story:
One day, a rich young man approached Jesus and asked, “I have kept all the commandments. What do I need to do to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus replied, “Sell all you have and give it to the poor, then come follow me.”
The rich young man left, sorrowful, because he could not part with his wealth.
Lesson:
This story teaches us that the fullness of religious life comes when we humbly give up our material possessions and pride. Wealth and material things are not the true source of happiness or eternal life.
